Chase Bank is full of Retards
So I get a call at home in the morning before I leave for work. I rarely if ever answer my house phone... I just hate talking on the phone, and it is usually a telemarketer if it is before 8AM or after 8PM.
So the caller ID says CHASE FSB... Well, I have Chase Credit cards, Chase Mortgage, Chase Line of Credit, and I have one of my Business Accounts at Chase... I figured it was a courtesy call, or something.. Anyway, as usual, I did not answer it. I figured it was not important, and if it was, the machine could get it.
I use my answering machine to filter at the telemarketing calls. Ok, so no message on the machine. Usually means it is not important and is some type of courtesy call or telemarketing call. End of story.
Not quite, end of story. I get to work and apparently there is a call for me when I walk past reception. It's Chase Home Finance. Ok, WTF? So I take the call.
Jennifer from Chase Home Finance says hello, and asks me how I would like to pay my Home Loan bill... She tells me I can pay over the phone right now. Actually, she insists on it.
I tell Jennifer why are you asking me this? She goes on to tell me that we are late on our home loan payment. I go on to tell her that we have NEVER been late, always pay a week in advance, pay MORE than the minimum amount, and ALWAYS pay in person... ie., no electronic payment bullshit! CASH in person, ie., at the FUCKING bank.
I then explain that I bring home a paycheck, I give it to my wife, she pays the bills. I have no reason to suspect my wife did not pay the bills with the money, after all, she has been doing this without exception for nearly 6 years now. She's a good wife, and while disorganized, does not screw up paying bills on the home we live in.
I ask Jennifer to show me a single time we have ever been late. She agrees, we have never been late. After a long discussion about this obvious fuck up on Chase's part, she suggests I go directly to my local bank and talk with the loan officer that recently locked my line of credit.
So I go to the bank and meet with my loan officer. She is miffed as I am. She calls Jennifer... They are both miffed.. Blind, leading the blind here... Way too much feminine involvement for me. Money and women or like fire and ice IMO.
Ok, I digress... So after a while the nimrods in Chase Banking lala land determine there is a fuck up somewhere. They see that we paid twice the due amount, and paid 7 days prior to the due date. However, the bank keyed in the payment as being due, not paid. So what the fuck happened to my money?
No one there has a fucking clue, but they say they will clear it up.
I have asked that Chase give me a written explanation as to why the fuck up occurred, what they have done to correct the problem, and proof the problem has been corrected.
As of today, I have no response... Fucking morons... I am in collections for a Chase Fuck UP!!!
Stay tuned.
