Thomas the Train recall
Several weeks ago I filled out the Thomas the Tank Engine recall paperwork and sent back the one and only Lead based paint laden Thomas unit my son had. It was the Sodor Mail train. Apparently these fucking Chineese bastards do not care about human life and the US government for some reason fails to regulate this commy pinko fuck tards.
As a result, several kids toys end up in the US with toxic lead based paint. In any event, my kid was not happy to see his Sodor Mail Train go, but I assured him he would see a replacement.
It was kinda ironic though.. I mean, mailing a mail train? Ok, anyway... RC2, the company that the product was sold/distributed under just sent me a "Oliver" Thomas the train engine and a letter. The letter explained their concerns and apologized and sent the Oliver as a "special gift" while we await the replacement for the Sodor Mail Train...
I can say I am happy this company has taken action, and it is nice to see them not only replacing my son's train, but compensating him for the loss of it, and dads time and money involved in shipping the bad unit back...
Kudos to RC2 for making things right!
In other news, I hear that the shit back Chinaman that owned the company that made all those other toxic toys killed himself. Good riddance. One less commy bastard on the planet earth.
