Tyler is not a Retard. An ignorant kid, yes. Retard? No. Retarded is a clinical term used to describe a person with a serious "mental disability". My cousin has Downs Syndrome, and is for all intense purposes, "Retarded".

If we are going to eliminate the use of the word Retard, we should then also seriously consider removing other words from our vernacular like, penis and vagina. While both clinical terms used to describe anatomy of the male and female sex organs, the slang derivatives of both of these words are used much in the same abusive manor as the word Retards. For instance, dick or pussy. Both can be offensive and abusive depending on the context.

Perhaps we should just eliminate every word and every phrase every time some retard, dick or pussy is offended.
